PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (WaterAid Nepal) Contract - Consulting Full Time

POSITION: People and organizational development manager (1)
As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the People and Organizational Development Manager is responsible for supporting the organization to have the people it requires in place and ensure the development of organizational capacity to deliver on its commitments.
The post-holder should demonstrate passion and ability to lead and innovate in areas of human resource management and OD; should be able to engage employees; support talent management; promote and help build a self-managing performance culture; develop people policies and strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Master’s degree level qualification in Human Resources Management, Organization Psychology or a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a post graduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
- Significant Human Resources (HR) operational management experience within a team environment.
- A minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience at senior management level handling responsibility for recruitment, employee relations, reward, performance management, employment legislation, organisational design, capacity building, policy and processes and learning and development.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practice and innovative new practices.
- Analytical and numeracy skills, to produce and distil accurate information applying intuition and strong judgement.
- Strong communication skills in written and oral English and Nepali.
- Highly competent in interpreting and applying statutory legislation.
- Experienced in Change management
