This is a list of INGO, UN agency and NGO jobs in Nepal. It costs nothing to use, and your application never passes through us.
Where the vacancies come from
Most of them we collect once a day from ReliefWeb and from the recruitment systems the organisations run themselves, the ones you land on when you click Apply. Workday, Taleo, Oracle and Workable are some of them. A few organisations post directly here instead, and those are marked no differently, because from your side there is no difference.
A vacancy appears here word for word as the organisation published it. Nothing is rewritten and nothing is shortened, so when the wording is strange, that is how somebody wrote it. Every listing links back to where it came from, so you can go and read it there before you believe us.
When a vacancy closes
On the closing date the organisation gave. Not a week later, and not whenever some scheduled job happens to wake up, which is how job boards end up advertising posts that were filled last year.
The page itself stays up, so an old link still leads somewhere and anyone who bookmarked it can see what happened. It just stops telling Google the job is open.
We never ask you for money
No INGO, UN agency or NGO charges you to apply for a job. There is no application fee, no processing fee, and nothing to pay for being shortlisted or interviewed. Nobody legitimate will sell you a training course that comes with a job at the end of it. If someone asks you for money at any point in a recruitment, they are not recruiting, whatever the letterhead on the email says.
We will never contact you first to offer you a job. We will not ask for your bank details, your citizenship number or a scan of your passport, because there is nothing here that could use them. You apply on the organisation's own website. Nothing is ever submitted to us.
If anything on this site asks you for money, tell us and it comes down.
You do not need an account
Every vacancy is readable without signing in, and that is not going to change. Signing in with Google or LinkedIn adds the things that only make sense once we know who you are: bookmarks, a record of what you have already applied for, email alerts when something matching turns up, and the discussion under each listing.
If you do sign in, choose a pseudonym. That is the name everyone else sees. Your real name is never shown, we have no use for it, and nothing about you is sold or passed on to anybody.
When we get it wrong
Vacancies are collected by a machine, so now and then one arrives twice or gets filed under the wrong district. Sometimes a closing date is read wrong, and occasionally a vacancy is missed altogether. None of that is deliberate and all of it is worth reporting. A link to the listing is the quickest way to get it fixed.
